The whole system of payment to the writers is rather cumbersome and complicated. There could be writers who barely make one dollar a month from writing, but they will be looped into income tax returns.

Is payment to writers really worth it? I would rather opt for advertisement option as a source of income as in Quora.

I suggest that those countries where the writers are not paid by the Stripe system should pay a monthly subscription of only $2 instead of $5 to compensate them for non-payment.
